Ross Notes

Interesting things I found picking through the various subdirectories of karchner.com.

* The MovableType and PyBloxsom predecessors of the current Ross Notes.
* Several other WordPress and MovableType blogs that never went anywhere, like my horse racing blog, my music blog (although I really liked the name, “Do Not Disconnect iPod”), and Karchner Solutions, LLC (which never actually became an LLC)
* Host configuration for karchner.net, which I no longer own.
* Remnants from playing around with Macromedia Contribute, back when it was called that.
* A web service benchmarking tool written by Ben Hammersley that I started running when he shut down his copy and open sourced it.
* One or more Drupal installations
* A python API written for the the **original** Share Your OPML, when it lived at “feeds.scripting.com”
* Brain Engine, a mash-up of the above API and Feedster, that let you search “what might person x have read about Y”
* some PHP forms developed for KnowledgePlanet
* some Firefly simulations.
* Possibly my last Localfeeds iteration in Python.
* Webalizer stats for harrisburgblogs.com (when I owned it), above version of Localfeeds, and Samlesher.com, when I was hosting it for Sam.
* A photo of “David Brimley” that always makes me smile.
